Students to showcase visual arts and graphic design talents

Bendigo TAFE students have a visual treat in store for the community, with visual arts and graphic design students poised to host a public exhibition showcasing their creations.

The Visual Arts Expo will feature an exhibition of paintings, prints, sculptures, drawings and photography by Certificate IV in Visual Arts (CUA41315) students.

The Graphic Design Exhibition will showcase graphic design and professional portfolios produced by Certificate IV in Design (CUA40715) and Diploma of Graphic Design (CUA50715) students this year.

Bendigo TAFE CEO Sally Curtain said the exhibitions are an important avenue for students to demonstrate their talents to potential employers.

“Bendigo TAFE is very proud of what our visual arts and graphic design students have achieved through their studies with us,” she said.

“These exhibitions are not just the perfect way to celebrate our students’ success with teachers, peers, family and the community; they also provide a great platform for students to showcase their skills and creativity to prospective employers.

“Well done to all the students and we look forward to seeing their work on display.”

Held at Bendigo TAFE’s City Campus (Building C), the exhibitions are open to public on 29 November, 4 December, 5 December and 6 December, from 11am to 4pm.
