About
Learn the Tools of the Trade

The total program is delivered over 9 months. This qualification reflects the role of Residential Youth Workers or Case Support Workers who deliver person-centered services to individuals and/or groups. Workers may provide support, advocacy or interventions to individual clients, groups or communities across a range of services. At this level, workers may be autonomous with limited responsibility within established parameters and may be required to supervise and lead other workers in projects or teams. Work may take place in a range of community service, case work or case management contexts.

You will be assessed throughout the course, assessments via the methods listed below. These assessments are designed to show that you have achieved the skills and knowledge required in order to achieve this qualification. Your teacher will provide you information on how you will be assessed for each unit.

There is the opportunity for re-assessment and appeal, which you can discuss with your teacher.

Additional Comments

Our  course delivery features a combination of on-campus and remote (online) learning, therefore we recommend a suitable portable device (i.e. laptop computer) and stable internet connection for all students undertaking the course.
