Our Welfare Support team promotes an individual or group's essential physical, emotional, and material well-being.

 

Our student welfare program provides students with welfare assistance in information, support and guidance across various topics. These can include but are not limited to the following:

  • Family
  • Finances
  • Emotional wellbeing
  • Material aid
  • Stress

Student Welfare Support provides a free and confidential service for students. And offers a range of services, including:

  • Information on fees and fee concessions
  • Centrelink assistance
  • Financial budgeting and saving skills
  • Scholarship Assistance
  • Emergency Relief 
  • Accommodation support
  • Information and referrals to other support services with Bendigo TAFE and local community services

How can I talk to a Welfare Officer?

You can book an appointment with a welfare officer during business hours at 03 5434 1755, 13 TAFE (13 8233) or email at studentsupportservices@bendigotafe.edu.au. If this kind of support is not what you need, the welfare officer can refer you to other services.

Our service is private and confidential, staffed by experienced and qualified welfare officers. It is:

  • available at all campuses
  • offered face to face
  • by appointment or walk-in
  • by telephone and email
  • by video call
