Enrolments Now Open for Free TAFE - News | Bendigo TAFE

Eligible students will soon be able to access tuition free training at Bendigo TAFE in the courses that lead to jobs most in demand from Victorian employers.

From 1 January 2019, the Victorian Government will pay tuition fees for priority accredited and pre-apprenticeship courses for eligible students.

Bendigo TAFE is now taking enrolments for Tuition-free TAFE for Priority Courses that begin in 2019.

Tuition-free courses are available across Bendigo TAFE’s campuses
and include the following industry areas:

  • Building and Construction
  • Plumbing
  • Engineering
  • Automotive
  • Electrical
  • Community Services
  • Disability Services
  • Aged Care
  • Health and Dental
  • Nursing
  • Hospitality
  • Horticulture

Victoria’s unprecedented building boom across road and rail projects, new schools and hospitals has created a massive demand for skilled workers. Increased support for Victorians living with disability and historic action to curb family violence has also delivered accelerated job growth in these areas.

More than ever, the skills required for these high-demand jobs are delivered by Bendigo TAFE.  Free TAFE for Priority Courses removes the financial barrier for students wanting to undertake quality, accredited TAFE training that gives them the skills they need to secure real jobs building our state and caring for our community.
